ABOUT THE ARTIST
I have been living and working in London since I graduated from University in the 90's with a Degree in Fine Art. Although I studied painting, I now spend most of my time creating mosaics as I love the uniqueness that each cut and piece of work has. I have previously worked on large scale public art mosaic projects in Central London. For the last 9 years I have been working in education and currently work at The Brit School in Croydon.
I prefer to use unwanted or broken ceramics as well as the odd piece here and there I acquire from charity shops if they take my fancy. My pieces are one offs dictated by the colours I have in my collection. I work on commissions but always have a selection of pieces on hand to inspire you as well as pieces for sale.
If you have any old or unwanted crockery lying around gathering dust, maybe I can transform it into a unique mosaic piece for you. It might be a family heirloom that you don't want to throw away, or some old china no longer in use.
I will be attending craft fairs later in 2020 and 2021.
